About Cognitive Labs
Cognitive Labs is an independent project that publishes a free, web-based cognitive screening tool. We focus on three families of items widely used in psychometric research: visual matrix reasoning, numeric sequence completion, and deductive logic.
Methodology
Items are procedurally generated and calibrated by difficulty bands. Raw correct counts are transformed onto a standardized scale (mean 100, standard deviation 15) with a small response-time component. Because the test is short and unproctored, results should be treated as exploratory.
Privacy
We do not require accounts. Your answers, settings, and results stay in your browser unless you choose to share them.
